Window Color and Appearance Menu

Hey everyone. I need a little bit of help. I'm confused about what all the stuff in the "Window Color and Appearance" menu means. Can someone give me a list or explain to me what each of the menu items mean and what each one customizes? Thanks a lot in advance.
