Sidebar of Explorer, need help changing it

Hi there, Can anyone describe how I change the contents listing of my Explorer sidebar please? I just want it to show what it used to, before I reinstalled my Win 7 (64 bit). Now that its all clean again my explorer sidebar has changed.... ? It now shows various categories, those being
- Libraries
- Homegroup
- computer
- Network

What I'm trying to get it back to, is when it just showed one item, my computer. All these various ones seem to get in my way of everyday operations. How can I get the sidebar to show exactly what I want it to show? Is there a way?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Lisa
