Thanks.
P.S. I will attach a picture to that you know exactly what I'm talking about.
I love you, you don't understand how much I really do. My post is just above asking a similar question. I've all ready removed the buttons from the authui dependency and could not find the label for the OS name at the base of the LOGONUI. Using a simple search query because you referenced the EOA button I found the label.

element id="atom(Branding)" then replace with <element id="atom(Branding)" layoutpos="none"/>

For the buttons:

<button id="atom(Accessibility)" tooltip="true" layoutpos="left"/> just replace the left or right or whatever with none should in 12400,01, and 02

As I look now with wiser eyes I see this is just all bunched together in the same place. (DUMB, DUMB is I)

You can also instead of removing the buttons hijack one of them for additional options. I like at least one button with a custom icon, and menu list for me. I understand for business/government purposes you wouldn't want any privilege access what so ever so in that case just none them up. Otherwise edit the CPL.
------------
Also bump to my questions how do you move the logon boxes? Can you replace the resource entirely (don't want to but maybe someone else wants to change colour or transparency can this be done)?

And regarding the glitch I am having with the switch user being off still shows my user name atm. I am with the guy above me to how do you remove the other text data for me it is "locked".

I have other issues but I will regress. Until I have time to figure this out more for myself. As based on what I see with the script I might... I mights be able to do a lot more now. Thanks to the guy above me. Also how did you add Novell Network? Wouldn't want to but uhm is interesting. I would personally just add into the image resource file as an additional layer in the image file as then I wouldn't be limited by windows positioning or have change the system resource to move it.

*Never mind I see what you did done did now.

Cheers

HMMMMM maybe this isn't the place for answers.... looking at the resources dropped more closely these just look like meager back splashes, no offense to the author though I thought this was a full authui modification. Which if it is a backsplash I wouldn't ever use it authui operates with two key screens WinKey+L and CRTL+ALT+DEL one splash to rule them all. Sure looks nice when you login but not functional IMO. Then maybe I am being a jackass and don't know something either way, cheers again.

Hi to all,
I hope you don't mind but I thought this might be a good place to post a method for changing the shutdown screen background. I ran across this post earlier but there seemed no obvious solution;
Want to Change Logoff Background Screen

I simply copied the backgroundDefault image I'd set for the login screen in C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds, and pasted it in the same folder. Renaming it shutdownDefault changes the shutdown screen to the image set.

cheers
