Is it possible to have the folder *I* want be my 'Personal Folder'?

Hi all,

I have a user account that I use exclusively for work. I have a very structured folder hierarchy and have no use for most of those shell folders windows has decided we all need (saved games? really?). And so many apps feel the need to litter my user directory with their various detritus. Very annoying.

Instead of messing around with hiding or deleting folders and all that, I just created a new folder C:\Work and made symlinks to the couple of user directory folders that I actually use.

What I'd like to do now is make C:Work my 'Personal Folder'. The one that opens when you select your user name in the start menu and that has it's very own special heading in explorer's navigation pane. Is this possible?

Also, the files in the symlinked (is that a word?) folders all have an annoying padlock badge on them even though I have full control over their fate. Anyone know how to get rid of those?

Many thanks!!
