How did you remove only the taskbar but leave the start button? I want to do that so I can just have the startbutton and the rocketdock.

Thanks,
Kukag

When I first saw this topic and the pictures, I thought he had just changed the taskbar images and replaced them with transparent images with resource hacker.

I removed the taskbar using TransBar1.4.2.

I never really liked the windows 7 taskbar ,anyway.Though i can retrieve the taskbar by simply clicking the Transbar Icon from rocketdock .And Disabling the Transparency, I Posted some pics.

The best part is now i can Use My 3d Flip Shortcut from Rockedock as my TaskBar,To Preview Any open window.

One last Thing Transbar 1.4.2 Hides your Clock therefore i used a gadget to do the job.(i have included the Gadget as attachment for download.)

I'm not a big fan.
I do in fact like Apple's taskbar much more than windows.
I think windows 7 is a step towards making it more like apple's, but it's not the same.
If I'm gonna use another taskbar with windows, I'd download ObjectDock.
