Can someone give me a default explorer.exe for windows 7 64-bit?

Can someone give me a default explorer.exe for windows 7 64-bit? my explorer.bak that I have here is not the default one because I have changed my theme a couple of times and forgot the original explorer.bak file. I must have replaced it with another one. Can someone please help me ? And also, can I use the default explorer.exe for windows 7 32-bit even though I have windows 7 64-bit?

I don't have one, but I know that the 32-bit version won't work because it has to be the 64-bit version in order to work.

Hello bistroguduy, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you like, you could run a sfc /scannow command to have it repaired and replaced with a default one. It will also attempt to repair all corrupted or modified system files though.

    Hope this helps, :)

Look into All Programs. There should be 2 internet explorers. And there is a third one under Accessories > Tools.

I already tried sfc/scannow but it only says "Windows cannot find 'sfc/scannow'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." I am sorry for all the questions. I also hope that this will be able to bring back all the default icons on my computer. I tried to change some dll's before and with some awful luck, I forgot them.

I am sorry about that. I didn't think that you would run that at command prompt

It would be sfc/ scannow with a space inbetween instead. Be sure to also use an "elevated" command prompt. :)
