When you put the files required into the C:\Windows\Resources\Themes directory, it adds a 'themepack like' file to the Personalization themepack selection (somewhere in there).
You can switch between the custom theme and the original theme by clicking a different themepack in there, in order to remove it you only need to delete the files you added to begin with.
When adding the files, you should restart before applying the new theme.
When deleting the files, you should revert to a different theme, restart, then delete.
Don't forget to patch your theme files (forgot the names).
