Nice one, Wenda. But you need to adjust the shadow mode opacity when you are applying bevel and emboss. It is not looking good there with deep dark shadow mode.


And, dont apply bevel and emboss to a text's reflection .... if the bevel to reflection is really needed there, first apply the reflection only to a single layer so that the layer is free from layer styles, then apply the transparency mask there.

To a rendered reflected text (like the SF logo) bevel does not do a better look.

Arc, the sig was only a 'quickie' and some of it was dragged from other projects without modding the effects. But I've taken your suggestions on-board, and the result (before & after) is shown below.

I do need to do something with the EF logo, this one's near on impossible to see on a light b'ground...I've used the very minimum effects to get it visible, but no more.

I haven't modded the 'orb' yet, as it is a separate PSD file. I'll play with it later, have guests at present, and they have no interest in computers.

The effects on the logo is making it look bad.

BTW, I havent had any sig from the new designers. Is not it an injustice on me?

I thought I had both the logos in black, but can't seem to find them, and a quick browse through the thread didn't help.

I agree 110% with you about the effects on the logo but as I said, any less and you can't see it. I could move it onto a different or darker b'ground, but that would bugger the effect I was after.

Would 'rep' you, but must apparently spread some around before I can rep you again.
