Looks like I Scewed that one up....
Good looking sig Kandy. If you're starting with a transparent canvas you need to resize it too 650x150 and save as png to retain a transparent background. When the forum resizes them it will change to a jpg which can't display transparency.

When you save one which has been uploaded for you, click on the applicable size, when it opens, click it once more and save that image as a png as well.

Here's an example. It is unusable because I very quickly deleted the back ground.

    Great sig Arc!

And very nice Kandy! But still no opacity.. Try using one colored layer as a background for creating the sigs, and unchecking that layer when you save it, that way it won't show up:)

I create a layer from the background, then delete it. That gives me the transparency.

May not work for everyone, or on every design.

i dont think kandy is trying to make transparent sigs,
the transparency (or lack of ) i was referring to, was in the sig he has just applied from arc.
i can see it has none at the moment as i use a dark forum skin , so i see the white surround,
it doesnt really matter as most people use a white default skin.
personally, i use the dark sf skin and am pedantic about things being correctly displayed.

I use the Default Skin Julian , and never Noticed... On the Default skin I layered it first with that background....

    ok great,

i've been trying to recreate a iron man 3 style sig but no where near the original so,
its just a work in progress at the moment.

Close Julian. To my eye the outline needs to be more chiselled and more of a steel colour. The centre looks just right to me.
