fuzzy system tray icons on 2560x1440 120 dpi

    Hello everyone,

I have a fresh windows 7 Professional x64 installation and using a screen capable of 2560x1440.
Everything was so tiny so I changed dpi to 120 (125% in windows settings).
And while eveything else looks great, the system tray icons look awful (except the windows icons)
    Here is a screenshot:

As you can see the action center, wireless, volume icons look very good but all the other icons are distorted.
It doesn't seem like an application specific issue because foobar2000's icon in the taskbar look very sharp and is larger than the one in the system tray which is distorted.

I searched for a long time but did not find anything that helps. If I switch to 96 dpi (100%) everything looks fine..

    Any ideas?

Unfortunately, this is normal. Even I get the same thing when I do it.

    Well that's a shame..
Anything I can do to at least make them look a little bit better?

    I don't know, but that doesn't mean that I think there isn't a way.
