Windows 7: Slide show only plays one picure

Slide show only plays one picure

I set up a slide show with more than one picture to be the monitor background. When I go back to display personalization only one picture is checked in the left-upper corner. I select the ones I want by putting a check in the left-upper box or I select all, then I save my decision. Come back an hour later and only one picture is selected. Why?

Hello Blockie,

Have you checked your Power Settings?
If not, follow the following steps to do so;
Go to the start menu by clicking on .
Type "Power Options" in the search bar.
Click on the respective icon, and go to "Change plan settings" next to your selected power plan.
Click on "Change advanced power settings", and click on the arrow next to "Desktop background settings".
Click on the arrow next to "Slide show" and check if both options are set to "Available". If not, change them to available.
Click on "Apply" and "Ok" and you are done.

It should work correctly now.

If that doesn't work, you might want to read this post.

Good luck and keep us posted!
