Custom login backgrounds that change over intervals.

Alright, firstly, I know about the built in login screen customization meant for OEM usage, where you just enable a registry setting, and then put your custom background into the certain folder. That is great, except that for some ridiculous reason it has a 256kb filesize limit.

Then I learned about how you can bypass the limit by just directly editing imageres.dll.

What I'm wondering is that if there is an application that will rotate through several custom login screens on intervals/triggers, similar to the built in desktop slideshow feature. If it could change every certain amount of time, or every time you log in, etc, that would be great as long as it bypasses the 256kb file size limit.

I've searched for such a program but I've had no luck. If no such program exists I'm considering attempting to create something like that.

That one definitely does not fit my needs, as it still abides by the built in 256kb file size limit. Which is really ridiculous, 256Kb isn't even close to providing a high quality 1080p image unless most of the image is one color.

I use Luke's app and luv it! I never worry about the file size and it works great w/hi-res images.
