My Windows 7 laptop currently has the Vista boot screen. I prefer the default Windows 7 animation. This happened after removing a Win 8 partition. I was going to use BCDEdit or BCDBoot as explained in the article: Fix and Restore Windows 7 Boot Screen That Changes to Vista Style « My Digital Life
I am concerned that these commands may overwrite the MBR and I am still dual booting using grub with Linux. Thanks in advance for your comments.
