Hello Gopal, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You can also change the taskbar position from the Taskbar Properties page.

Taskbar - Move Location on Desktop Screen

Hope this helps,
Shawn

It is stored in a stream at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects2!Settings. Good luck making heads or tails out of it.

Thank you very much MrJukes for the location. That is what I needed to make it work.

It was the number in red that changed in each position.

Code:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects2]
"Settings"=hex:28,00,00,00,ff,ff,ff,ff,02,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,3e,00,00,00,2e,\
  00,00,00,00,00,00,00,82,04,00,00,80,07,00,00,b0,04,00,00

Gopal,
Please see METHOD THREE in the tutorial below courtesy of MrJukes.
