Taskbar Colors Dim on Uncombined View

I know this is a pretty trivial thing, but it still bothers me. I want to be able to use the uncombined view for my windows but when I uncombine, it makes the taskbar aero color dimmer (I assume so you can read the text more easily). Is there anyway to disable the taskbar color from dimming on uncombined view? Thanks.

Welcome to Seven Forums gummibears. Rather then trying to change this normal windows behavior. You can instead change the taskbar transparency, intensity, etc. to your liking.

Window Color and Appearance - Change

This will also affect windows edge colors. if you want to change just the taskbar color, you can try something like this:

Thank you for responding to my post. I wanted to avoid messing with the color intensity options too much because I like the current level of window/taskbar transparency.

I appreciate you also linking me to that program. It looks pretty useful, but I stubbornly still want to see the wallpaper image through the transparent taskbar rather than a completely solid color. I guess I'm pretty hard to please.

Still, thanks a lot for the help and advice. :)
