Software Recommendation: Integrate iPhone 4S with Windows Seven.

I have a iPhone 4S and use the native calendar app to run my life.
I would like to integrate the events in my calendar app to display on the desktop (maybe as a gadget) of my computer. I use a Windows Seven Ultimate 64-bit SP1.
Using outlook didn't workout so good.. My events doubled up on my phone on the 2nd sync. Plus. At the time, I couldn't workout how to display the events on my desktop. Maybe it was because I didn't configure the gadget correctly.

Ideal software would be able to do..
    - Show events on the current day on the desktop.
    - Show up coming events within the next 7 days on the desktop.
    - Update every time i sync my phone. (iTunes has the ability to sync certain things (such as contacts and calendars).

Anyone have ideas on what software I can use to do this?

I found the outlook.com calendar to be the best,
Apple does not agree with Office calendar if that's the calendar you had issues with ?
    Not very specific "outlook calendar"
    Cheers.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.
I used outlook that came with windows. I sync my iPhone calendar to outlook through iTunes. But was never able to display upcoming events on my desktop. Though I used a gadget from a third person. Maybe there's better ones out there.
The mistake I made is this when I sync, it synced both ways therefor it doubled up the events on my iPhone. The original iPhone event and an outlook version of the event (originally from the iPhone). I think I might play around with the settings, make it only sync one way.

Just wondering if someone know a better way to achieve what I originally posted.

Outlook isn't included in Windows 7.

You may already have this set of programs,
    Windows essentials 2012,
Windows Essentials - Download Windows Live Essentials
One of the programs/ apps is a Office outlook connector,
Which plugs in Office outlook with (outlook.com or Hotmail=webmail)
The webmail email has a decent calendar which might play better with syncing but the syncing of iTunes pretty much uses icloud to push to your apple device.
But like all devices you can add which ever Webmail calendar you want on the devices setting which would have nothing really to do with apple sync at all.
