Was this an icon pack, or just individual icons you have applied over time? Individual icons I don't believe you can save the settings without a system image, which would sound unlikely if you are reformatting to install windows fresh?

Yes its individual icons, what made me come up with this thread is this: i have drive C and D all the customized folders and the icons are in D,sometimes when i format C i come to D and see that all folders still have customized icons this happens 3 times outta 8 so it got me wondering what is keeping them have customized icons when C is on a fresh install

If the icons themselves are stored on D, then the fresh install on C would not remove them. Id they are linking from C, then of course they will be removed. A Guy
