    blury text

    Hi

I have just installed Windows 7 and I really like it. One thing though I have noticed is that some text seems blury. I have run the clear text setup programme twice but this has made no difference. Has anyone else noticed this? If so how did they fix it?

Can you please let me know,

    Thanks,

This is definitely not a Windows 7 problem as such because my fonts are all very crisp and clear.
Do you have the latest drivers installed for your graphics?
Do you have the optimum screen resolution set?

    Hope you get it sorted!

On my computer it's only the MSN Window that shows my contacts that's blurry, it's annoying.

Just thought I'd post back to say that this is now fixed. I reduced the text size down to 100% instead of 125% and its all fine now.

    Thanks for your help.

In the control panel under display, on the top left side is a link to adjust ClearType text. It's a wizard that will ask you which looks best to you, out of samples.

    Thanks for your reply

As mentioned above I fixed it by reducing the text size.

You're welcome. Yeah, no doubt. I figured to put the info for you and also others, for reference. Since you had it at 125, perhaps you can use the ClearType wizard to make that dpi look good for you. In any case, glad you have things good now.
