Help Explaine Annoying Image Formats?

I've been using FTM (FileTypesMan - Alternative to 'File Types' manager of Windows) to customize my file types in 7. Especially the icons and the right click context menus. So far, so good, but I've run into a problem with the image formats.

No mater what I do, when I right click any picture I get similar options: Preview, Edit, and Print. Even if I delete all traces of it in the registry. If there is no file association what-so-ever. It's really annoying.

I want it to be empty, gone, so I can add my own icon, and right-click options, like I've been doing for other file types.

Can anyone explain what's so difficult about the picture types? .jpg, .bmp, .png, ect...

Thanks.
