How to launch equalizer by command?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to launch my equalizer from Control Panel > Hardware And Sound > IDT Audio Control Panel by command?

I can't create a taskbar/startmenu shortcut to the "app", only a desktop shortcut. I don't really know why that is. There are a few other instances that involve the Control Panel that aren't easily accessible by shortcut either

    The command is:
    Code:
    %WinDir%\system32\IDTNC64.cpl

You could also check within the control panel app for an option for show icon in tray or similar, a lot of these 3rd party controls have such a switch :)

Sadly, no such option with this one.

    Double,
If you want to pin this to the task bar (or elsewhere)...
...you can construct the Target of the shortcut like this:
    Code:
    %SystemRoot%\system32\control.exe %WinDir%\system32\IDTNC64.cpl
You can change the icon by pointing it to the CPL applet if you select All files (*.*):

Doh! Silly me. (You can tell that I don't use this control.)

The only thing that the CPL applet load is launch the exe from here:

    "%ProgramFiles%\IDT\WDM\IDTNGUI.exe"

You can make the shortcut using that exe...
...then there is no need to change an icon
...and it should pin to anywhere.

Thank you very much for your help. Even though I've owned this system for years now, I just discovered the built-in Equalizer yesterday and ironically, it has quickly became one of my favorite apps :)
