Add a button/shortcut to Window Explorer toolbar

Hello,

To the Window Explorer toolbar I want to add a button/shortcut that moves the current navigation to a specific drive “F:\” or to a directory like “E:\SharedData\Download\Applications\Zip\WinZip\V10”; I could label the button “F:” and “d-Winzip”. This way I do not have to navigate/find/expand the “Computer”, navigate/find/expand E: and …

I have read many articles from “sevenforums.com” and “experts-exchange.com” and others.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Al

Welcome to Seven Forums al4b. I've not seen a way to add custom shortcuts to the Explorer toolbar. usually is is only already available items. See if this tutorial has options that would work for you

Windows Explorer Toolbar Buttons - Customize

You can add custom items to the Explorer Navigation Pane instead, with this tool

WinAero: Downloads / Software / This PC Tweaker

Thanks for the return Guy.

If the commands are on the toolbar, they will show on every open/save dialog boxes, only true for applications that use the explorer dialog. That is the reason i want the command on the toolbar.
