Nice Mike. I decided not to upgrade my laptop ATM. It's getting a bit past it.

I know you can install it on old hardware Bill. I'm going to get a new laptop in the next few months. Once that is set up and running will be the time to convert this one. I'm currently running it in two VMs so I will keep them going as long as I can.

Can't say I blame you at all Keith new tech with older hardware is risky even if it works for now or through testing
My desktop tested okay but in the beginning not so much as hdd issues...
So My older systems will not be getting 10 in anyway

Still open to it on my new rig but the terms need straightening out first
And of course the price is also too high for a standalone install.

It's also loaded with a great deal of software which I'm not convinced will all work with W10. I've tested what I can in a W10 VM but it's not the same.

From what I've noticed the walls are the best part of win-10
It was also nice to see a lot of group policy settings starting to function properly in the last build I reviewed 10164
If I can use a local account if I buy a stand alone installer I'm half way there :)

System requirements state M$ account required hopefully that is only to use windows apps and does not apply to the os
I'm all in if that's the case.

The other thing to worry about is the MS uses torrent technology to download updates although you can turn it off. A bit worrying though if you have an upload cap.

I was wondering about the setting to use multiple sources for updates ?
