I don't know if this is a tip you GFX geeks could use, but at least a story worth telling .

A few years back my friend renovated his Italian "Ristorante" and wanted new menus and la Carte lists printed in canvas, each featuring a different image, text with some "medieval" font. All images were of paintings of various Italian masters (I don't want to think about copyright infringements now...).

He asked me if it could be done. I bought some canvas from a store selling artist equipment, cut it to DIN A4, my mate bought a cheap inkjet printer to be used for this and my wife gave me a big spray bottle of hair spray.

The result was good, in fact quite amazing. I made each page with PowerPoint, printed on inkjet, sprayed the pages with hair spray to fix the ink so it could be touched without smearing the ink. Naturally the printer was ready for trash after the project, after 30 or so canvas sheets it was impossible to clean.

If you can afford an extra printer, this really works and gives a nice touch even if you print photos.

Thank you everyone,
If Keith added a bit of tint to it might look more aged ?

There used to be a van-go but i'm not seeing it ?
Cheers.

Ingenious Kari but I think I'll stick to a filter. Much less messy.
