    is there a way to add a side bar?
    i had it with XP and i miss it now im on 7

    Windows 7 allows you to place gadgets anywhere you like now on the desktop.

    Gadgets - Add or Remove from Desktop


    If you would still like to have the Vista style "Windows Sidebar" in Windows 7, then this can help show you how to.
