That is the least possible size I can do without reducing the frames.

I guess it is a C4D + After Effects work. I have used C4D a few times, but never used AE. I cannot reduce it properly with my basic knowledge of frame animations.

I did take out all odd numbered frames. How do I need to save it to animate> I used Compuserv GIF?

Is there an option "Save for Web"? It will save an animated gif.

I created it solely in Cinema4D. Saved it as a 650x150 .avi file, then imported that into Photoshop, cropped the sides a bit, removed a few frames at the end and saved it as a .gif.
I tried all possible .gif options that didn't degrade the image quality, but the smallest I can get it without removing frames is just something over 1MB
