Be thankful that you guys are young and know what you want and are pursuing it. Im not old per se (29) but it took me a while to figure out I wanted to do computer stuff for a living. Wished I knew I wanted to do that in HS instead of finding out after hating a few jobs lol.

Actually, I've joined the military. Lol so I got 8 months left of fun. Then the suck begins!

Did that out of high school as well. Just make sure you get into something you can take with you. For example, using the Navy as an example, don't be a boatswains mate unless you want to work on a ship outside of the Navy or tie knots for a living. Get into computers or engineering.

I was a GM on CVN 71 and had a blast, but all I learned how to do was shoot all the guns very well and clean, fix and take them apart/put back together. Rinse repeat. I loved it, but there aren't a ton of options outside of the military for marksman unless you want to be a cop.

That's what I was looking into. Rite now I'm in aviation operations. But I want to go into reconnaissance. After military I was looking into some type of CIA, FBI, SWAT type work. Despite sitting on the computer for hrs, I hate desk jobs and would never be able to hold one.
