    How to change clock background color?


    So in which dll or theme file I can edit the clock background?

    Which clock? The Gadget Clock or the Taskbar Clock? I only know that the Taskbar clock can be switched off.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums


    The one on the taskbar bar is in the C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\aero\aero.msstyles


    I would recommend that you start a new custom theme from scratch so you do not corrupt the original look at Post #38 Here it will show you how.


    You will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.

    If it's a custom theme the numbers are not the same, post a link to the theme or zip up the themes .msstyles and post it here.
