Context Menu > New > items list ... remove and add

When I right click in results pane of WinExp, one of the options for "New" is "Journal Document"

    1. What is a "Journal Document"
    2. What does a "BriefCase" object do
    3. Can "Journal Document" and "BriefCase" be removed? If so how ?
    4. How can I add a third party program to the New sub-menu, eg Text Editor (not Notepad)
      - I have found Context Menu - Add Shortcuts with Icons and two links on that tutorial
      - Would my short cut create a new text file orphan ?

I would appreciate any help, thank you :)

    Hello Russell,

Q1) Create and personalize handwritten notes using Windows Journal

Insert text into a Journal note

Q2) Sync using Briefcase - Windows Help

Q3) Sure, you could remove any of the default "New" context menu items that you don't want.

New Context Menu - Remove & Restore Default Menu Items

Q4) Not sure about this one.

    Hope this helps. :)
