gif Photo with Transparency
I personalized my screen background by adding a photo. The photo is a gif file with a picture of my dog on a transparent background. In Windows 7, the part that is supposed to be transparent displays as a solid off-white color which clashes with my selected background color. I used the same photo with Windows XP and did not encounter this problem; that is, the transparent border section was indeed transparent allowing the background color selected in Windows XP to show through. Is there any way to remedy this problem?
