    Windows 7 mac style STACKS

    check this out
    Chris'n'Soft » StandaloneStack
worked as smooth as hell on windows 7

basically you download the .exe file make a shorcut and put it on your desktop
Right-click on this shortcut, choose properties.

At the end of “Target” field, enter the name of your stack, for example “desktop” (without quote “”).
( change the name for each stack you do)

    example: C:\standalonestack\StandaloneStack.exe desktop

then double click it choose file
then pink to taskbar and voilà!
to change icon I just changed the shortcuts icon in the windows options

You should probably give people who wish to try a chance to do so.

consider YOUR "days" and others "days" ... timezone, ect... only says 1 day to me...

as far as a comment.... i wouldnt use it, as i dont have my desktop up in my face most times. tis why i use the taskbar instead and some of rocketdock. IMO that desktop screenshot looks as if they still like to use an XPish type OS with the handy use of docks and gadgets from vista/win7... but thats just my opinion... taken from the looks of that taskbar use

It's nice but I have my Quick Launch enabled and I have a Rocket Dock which I keep on Auto Hide, so I don't have any need for anything else, still it's a nice alternative, thanks for sharing.

this is fantastic, i'll definitely use it. i have lots of apps pinned to my taskbar right now for quick retreival.

hopefully i can run multiple instances of this with different icons, and just pin those to the taskbar, so i can free up some room.

busy now, but i'll check it out in the morning.

    thanks for posting!
