change color of window behind and to side of picture

I have been tying to change the Background color on Photoviewer (in Windows 7), and for this application window only. I have tried the combinations in Windows Color and Appearance but to no avail. I tried the various window color options but none changed this particular window. It is NOT the color cast I wish to change. I want to change the color of the window behind and to the side of the picture displayed. it currently is a pale pale blue. I would like to change it to a dark gray or Black.

    Or is this possible. Thanks

I am convinced that it is possible. Windows Photo Viewer Skin by ~RudeBoySes on deviantART
I just haven't found the right image in photoviewer.dll

I've just found out that it can be changed by a registry entry. Download that skin above, a txt file will tell you how to add the registry key.
