This is my Windows 7. Still a lot of work needed. I strived to make it resemble normal Windows.

WOW! How did you make the taskbar buttons to be smaller than the taskbar? Could you please tell me, I have been wanting to do this for years but I could never do it.
I even made a thread about it a few days ago: change height of taskbar buttons
I just use a modified Windows 7 theme, but the taskbar buttons are the standard images. Did you just change the images to be shorter in the #1024.png found in aero.msstyles? Did you change the images from 40px in height to be shorter?
Or did you actually change the height of the dimensions that Windows reads from the .png file?
Because I wanted to use the old XP or even Vista Taskbar buttons, but I can't stretch them to be 40px in height, because it will make them blurry when the taskbar is made shorter.
I think it is theme-dependent. In this theme (Olive, a version of Luna) the buttons are smaller than the taskbar. I changed the height of fonts, their color and disabled smoothing (because ClearType does not work on taskbar). I think this did not affect the buttons' height.
I did not change the height, it was already in the theme. The theme is Olive, it is ported from WinXP. I only modifyed it slightly to fit my needs.
The show desktop is removed by the utility 7+ Taskbar tweaker. It has many other useful features as well, such as reducing the space between tray icons so to make it the same as under Win95-XP (this setting is available only via registry though), disable taskbar groupping, make standard conrtext menus for taskbar items etc.
The unmodified variant is available from DeviantArt.
