Change default Apple iDevices Icons

Hi everyone,

I found this post on this forum to resolve the issue with the iPhone 4S icons on windows 7.

Change default iPhone 4S icon

While this worked like a charm for the iPhone 4S, I have since then bought an iPod Nano 7th gen, iPad Mini retina and more recently iPhone 6. and the icons are not showing correctly. Any one know how to solve the icon issues? I mean how hard is it for windows to actually recognise an iPhone icon??

Would appreciate anyone's help. It really annoys me that the iPhone logo looks like a 90s etch n sketch. Windows 98 I expect that to happen but Windows 7? Come On!

Thanks

Welcome to Seven Forums dev gandhi. You should be able to change any drive icon to one of your choosing.

Drive Icon - Change

You'd have to have the device plugged in while making the change.

I also use this small portable program to change drive icons. Again, you'd have to supply the icon, and have the device plugged in to make the change
