all displayed in med icons for Windows 7. For example when you open a folder that has mp3 or other folders etc I always want them to appear in medium icon size. It seem like there always viewed as detailed. Also I want this for eveything even when I connect USB flash drives, Dvds that have folders on it. I hope theres a way. thanks

Hello Davv, and welcome to Seven Forums.

After you set the folder views the way you want them, use the tutorial below to apply them to all folders that have the same folder template. You will need to repeat this in a folder with one of the other folder templates though to set those templates as well.

Unfortunately, Windows will not remember folder view settings for removable devices. As soon as you disconnect or remove the device/media, the folder views are reset for it.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
