edit / change the CTRL-ALT-DEL Arrows.

Hi all,

When you get the Ctrl-Alt-Del screen up that allows you to access task manager, log off etc etc there are some horrid Green arrows next to each line...

Any chance of changing the Green arrows to another image ?

Many Thanks

As far as I can tell the arrows are not an image, just part of the Operating System so doubtful they could be changed except by rewriting the program which most likely is prohibited by the licensing agreement.

You're welcome. You can avoid the green arrows and other choices on that screen by right-click the Taskbar and choosing Start Task Manager.

This screen is of a very sensitive nature in regards to security so there are few options provided to change it. This may not be a concern to you but it is a very big deal in a secure environment. Even apparently minor changes might be exploited for malicious purposes.

Ctrl + Right Arrow behaviour - how do I change?
It has irritated me for years that ctrl + right arrow puts the caret (the blinky insertion point) at the beginning of the next word rather than the end of the current word. This is irritating because it includes the spacebar character when selecting a whole word with ctrl+shift+right. It is...

Is it possible to change the CTRL + ALT + DEL items in Windows 7
Hi, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and I was wondering can I add options to the CAD (CTRL + ALT + DEL) menu in Windows 7. I am aware that I can disable what is already there but could I for example add a link to AVG that would work like the task manager option? Thanks - JamesAS

CTRL-ALT-DEL screen change?
I would like to change the plain old CTRL-ALT-DEL screen. My computers are on a Domain, so after adding to the domain the plain old Windows 7 blue background with the letters CTRL-ALT-DEL come up, and I'd really like to add our company logo (or at least colors?) to that screen. Any...

Change "CTRL+ALT+DELETE" wording to "CTRL+ALT+INSERT"
I would like to change the wording on the Windows 7 logon page from "Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to unlock this computer" to "Press CTRL+ALT+INSERT to unlock this computer". My company uses a lot of VMware View desktops and it's tedious to continually inform users of the keystrokes. I have searched...

Edit Ctrl+Alt+Del screen
