How can I get back options lost in the folders right click menu

After a computer clean up I have lost an important function in the right click menu.

I have installed VLC Media Player. When a movie and it's subtitles (two files), are in one folder and the folder is right clicked, the pop up menu offered the option 'Add to vlc media player's play list'; 'Play with vlc media player'. I have lost these and a couple of other options after the clean up. How can I get back these options?

    Thank you

There are many tutorials here for the context menus just have a look in the tutorial section. As far as VLC is concerned from what I remember as I no longer use it you need to reinstall it as that's the only time it gives you the option to integrate entries to the context menus but maybe another member has a better way

Yes, reinstalling VLC did the trick. Many thanks to both of you.
