    pinned Toolbar problem

    Hi

Starting with my first forum post here :)

I created a folder, copied shortcuts to it, and pinned it to start taskbar, now my problem is the following, it shows part of the icon like this. (next to the start button)

this worked ok in Vista, but for now it looks broken in Win 7, or i'm doing something wrong maybe?

any suggestions, or other ways to pin shortcuts there, i'm thinking about 7stacks if I won't come up with any solution

    Regards

Hello Resnik, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if pinning it like the folder in this tutorial will work for you.

Taskbar - Pin or Unpin a Folder

    Hope this helps,

This works, but its not what i'm looking for, I mean, i want folder that will expand, and show my shortcuts, without showing the folder icon first, or any other one...

Hm, any way to tweak that "border" size if taskbar is locked or unlocked?

Yes, you can do that. :)

    • Pin the folder to the taskbar.
    • Unlock the taskbar.
    • Uncheck both Show Text and Show Title (steps 8 and 10).
    • Next, slide the dotted line (step 7) to where all you have is the arrows.
    • Lock the taskbar.
When you click on the arrow, the folder will expand to show you it's contents.

    thanks, works.

still one minor problem, any way to "organise" and move icons? like, what icon or folder is first? for example, on the pic those two are shortcuts to my computer and chrome, is there a way to swap them?

Sure thing. You can just left click on the icon (chrome) and hold, then drag it over the computer icon and release to drop it. :)

any idea maybe, why I can't change folder icon in
    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\ ?
It simply does not wna apply it, however if I create a folder on desktop, change icon, and then move it in there, then it works
