windows 7 professional 64bit

custom start button

I am trying to use this as my start button

http://www.sevenforums.com/attachmen...button-v.2.bmp

I have followed the tutorial in these forums and it works... but as the image I am trying to apply is longer than the standard button, it gets all squished up.. would anyone know how to deal with the amount of width ( space ) in the toolbar ?... thank you

If you want to resize the taskbar itself to allow the button to fit ...

Taskbar right click

Uncheck Lock Taskbar

Position cursor on edge of taskbar so that it shows the resize arrow, drag to the desired size. Go back and check Lock Taskbar The button will centre itself in the larger space.
