    password at startup

How can I get the machine to stop asking for a password when i startup? this machine is not subject to other people and its just a hassel I don't need, even though I see the usefulness for most people...

    Hi and welcome

there are two ways. If it is in a secure location you could just remove the password. The other is to have the password "remembered"

I went the no password route and love it

In the Start Search box, type
    netplwiz
uncheck the box in front of "Users must enter a user name and password...
    Ok
    enter the current password twice
    OK

Now it will automatically log you in after a restart.
