change spinning circle next to cursor?

I would like to know if anyone has made a custom graphic to replace the spinning circle next to the cursor. If you haven't made one, maybe you know where to find one? Surely someone else has got a bit bored with it and tried to change it.

    any help would be appreciated.

oh... and hello all.. first post, I'm new here.

    Welcome onboard!

You can go to Mouse in the Control Panel, and change the scheme in the dropdown window...if you can find something that you like better.

    Thanks for the Welcome

Thanks for the Welcome. Changing it the way you suggest will not accomplish what I want. Perhaps I wasn't clear. I want to change the spinning circle to a "new" graphic. That would be a third party graphic that someone made. I know the dll file where the graphics are embedded and I would most likely put them there if someone has them or knows where to get them. Right now, I have different color graphics where I can make the circles different colors, but I was looking for something completely different (smile).

I know that I could go with CursorFX but I don't want to do that either. I used their stuff when I was using XP.

Thanks for your help. I do appreciate it!

I'm not the person to talk to about custom graphics, but I think that it would be difficult for anyone else to help you, because that would be a matter of taste, which no one knows your's except you.

I was simply going on what you said about eliminating the spinning circle (busy or working in background). Some of the optional schemes use a different busy graphics, but it sounds as though you want to retain the remainder of the Aero scheme, and if that is so, maybe someone will come along later.

No problem, I never considered you rude in any fashion. I just tend to be a bit verbose at times, especially when I don't know what to say.

Of course, a crab dancing on a hook doesn't make a pretty picture...unless you wanted it for your busy icon.
