Windows 7: Tired of waiting

Tired of waiting

I am not a fan of waiting while Windows 7 does their fading and drop down menus. I want my drop down menus to expand at once. I don't want screens to fade in and out - just do it. However, I cannot find where to make those changes in Windows 7. Can anyone help.

YES! Thanks. Now, can you help with the drop-down menus? I would like them to fully expand when I click on them, not have to wait or click the arrow.

Hello Elof,

In addition to the tutorial above, you can set this setting in the Start Menu Customize settings to open the menus as you pause the mouse pointer on them.

This can help speed up how fast the menus open as well.

Hope this helps,
