Change windows 7 to old Windows Security Logon box?

    good evening everyone :)

I just finished installing 7 on my laptop and the first thing I wanted to change was the logon screen. I know I can go into netplwiz and click the enable secure logon which gives me the cltr+alt+del,, but then it still brings me to the logon screen.

I am wanting to see the Windows Security box at boot up that says hit ctrl+alt_del and then gives u the username/password/logon to box?

    is this possible with 7

I remember a way I got it to work on vista going into the local either group policy or security poilcy but i can't remember.

    PART 2

What is the default username I am logging with b/c I know the install asked me to name my machine which I did but I don't recall it asking for you a username? Am I using admin as default

    thx advance

Hi kevin and welcome to seven forums

part 2 yes initial account created during install is called administrator. after setup you can create your own user level user

Part 1 i have seen it but dont remember where. Have you tried to google it?
