    How to make folder thumbnails like XP?


    Hi there im dappointed at the new 'expandable'-looking folder thumbnails. Is there a way to make the folder thumbnail appear flat and with a chosen thumbnail image (like on XP), rather than the fold-out windows 7 version? Thanks a lot.

    i just liked it keeped everything tidy is there other wasy i could make pc look tidy

For example, for MKV videos Windows 7 shows no more information than it does for text files. I'd like to have thumbnails and data like duration, pixel dimensions, video and audio bitrate etc. as it shows for other types.
Hello! I'm New Member! Anyways, I've been downloading many Videos and I watch them on WMP (I'm running Windows 7 64Bit) and I have variety of files. But for some reason files like .Mp4 would show thumbnails/an image of the video while my MKV files just show an Icon. I have installed K-Lite codec...
Is there any way by which I can see the contents of a video file playing in thumbnail view without actually opening it ?
I for some reason am not able to get a thumbnail view of any of my .cbr & .cbz files anymore. I had to reinstall Windows 7 a few days ago and now no thumbnails show for my comicbook files. Pdf's show fine once I locate them with Adobe Pro. And usually when I locate them with a certain comicbook...
This may be a stupid question, but is there any way to make the taskbar thumbnails appear faster? There's a 1-2 second delay which I find very annoying when I want to open a specific window of a program (and while I know I can click, I also find that very annoying... I guess I'm picky).
