New user folders and default locations
My system still does not act the way I want it to. As an example I'd like to be able to right click on my user profile name from the start menu. This opens explorer in my user profile folder. If I then create a new folder, I'd like for it to be created in the new location,...NOT in C:\Users\[profile name]. Does anyone have any idea how I can accomplish this?
Edit: Since this post was moved it may be helpful to know the history on this issue. This is in regards so moving a user profile to another partition. I've moved the default folders from C:\Users\[user name] to another partition. The folders are now located at E:\ as a dedicated data partition. This allows me to back up separately my Windows 7 and all of my personal data files without worrying that if the Windows 7 partition crashes I lose all of my data.
