    Slide Show gadget picture View problem in windows 7 sid


    Slide Show gadget picture View problem in windows 7 sidebar?

    Hi i have a problem with slideshow gadget in windows 7 ultimate..
    Slide show works fine but the problem is i cant view the picture by pressing the view button in slide show gadget..

    I also deleted the settings.ini file and 7 rebuilt it..but problem didnt solve..

    Kindly tell me alternative method to solve this problem plzzzzz

    I'm not sure if this is an issue with the photo viewer rather than the gadget.

    I use picassa as my default viewer and have no issues with display of the image, but I have seen other reports of the default viewer failing

    i Tried all methods but nothing is working...


    Bro can i uninstall and reinstall windows 7 side bar???

    There is no sidebar in Windows 7 in the way that there is in Vista - The process is still called sidebar.exe, but it works in a different way.

    Check the tutorials here for a method of installing the actual Vista sidebar in Windows 7

    There is I think some bug that is causing the issue you have, hopefully this will be addressed with an update soon, either to the gadget or the viewer

Gadget Slide Show Problem

Hi, This is not a major OS or similar problem, more a nuisance. I would like to use the Slide Show Gadget to display an image, say, 75% of the screen but the "large size" I can get is about 3" x 2" (OK, 75mm x 50mm for youngsters). Can anyone help please? TIA Chris

My daughter likes to apply long descriptive file names to her photos, not right after downloading, but rather when she sees an interesting one during a gadget slide show. I want her to be able to flag the changed photo so that I can later search for it, remove the flag, and update the photo on her...
I've noticed in all builds of Windows 7 that the "View" button of the Slide Show Gadget doesn't work. It should open the displayed picture, but it does nothing. Anybody experiencing the same? Regards!
This is driving me crazy! The view button in slide show doesn't work. I didn't install any software that might cause the problem. I've tried uninstall and reinstall it but it still wouldn't work. I installed windows live photo gallery. I'm running Win7 home premium from HP. Can anyone tell me how...
