Info on a file in the status bar

Hello all!


in win XP if you press (onces) on a file you could see his size on the status bar

now on 7 i cant really see it

is microsoft disable that thing??

All you need to do is hover the mouse over file icon and the file size will be displayed...

again. i rather click onces then twice

if you cant help me. dont

in XP i wondt have to eider click or just hover

i know about all the other ways to see file info

i prefer the old system

so my question is it possible to have in 7 or no

i dont really understnad that image

i like my view as simple as possible
so i think only if ill add the whole view setting on ill be eable to see it

Why the heck Windows Explorer status bar does not show the file size, as it used to do in Vista and XP? Is it possible that Microsoft is that stupid to remove such an important feature?

File Transfer Status Bar not showing correctly
When I transfer a large amount of data, (I think it's over a gig that this happens) the file transfer window shows up, but I just get a scrolling green blob on the progress bar, instead of actually showing the progress. It's not a HUGE deal, but it's rather annoying. Is there a known fix for this?
