    Some start menu folders questions.

    Hello,
Is there a way to switch the positions of the Games folder and the HomeGroup Button on the start menu? They are kind of in the wrong categories in those positions since one is a content-oriented and the other a network-oriented object type. It gets annoying reaching for the music folder and clicking Homegroup by accident. And while we're at it, how come the Games folder is so inflexible, I can't get the icon I assigned to this folder to show up above the user namespace.

Secondly, I've mapped the Downloads folder to a logical drive and have since changed that drive, but remapping the Downloads folder, indeed doing anything with that folder, is now impossible since nothing happens when I click it. Is there a way to restore this? I've searched the tuts for these answers but they're either not there or I've missed them. So thanks.

    Hello Ragzarok,

You cannot rearrange the Start Menu buttons, but you can use the free program Vista Start Menu to have a customized Start Menu.

You might see if restoring the Downloads folder to it's default location through the registry using the tutorial below may be able to help.

    Hope this helps,
