I'm to lazy (and lack the knowledge of animation creation) to do it myself so if anyone feels like putting my avatar (pretty isn't it?) through the Christmasilization process, feel free.
I don't think it's going to work with that, got something with a person or creature that I can do?
Nope, sorry. Can't you just add snow falling to it? :)

I would like to know that trick :)
"Import" a Movie .. But you have to select "All files" to be able to see/import an animated gif file.
In CS2, or earlier ... Just open it in Image Ready ... then switch to "Edit in PS"

Looks like I may be able to fix Serg's Animated Avatar ... But The Colts game comes first.

A quick first pass ... I'm not done yet
Adobe seem to want to make us beleive that opening GIF animation in CS3 or above is not possible but I found out that it is, by default when you open import the only option is Video frames to layers and the only file formats it will find by default are MOV, MPG, MPEG and AVI, to open a GIF image you need to type *.* in the file name and press enter and it will then display all items and it will let you open GIF images as well.
