| | Explorer icon modification...what's missing? I have installed Mr. Grims black icon pack a couple times now (reinstall only due to clean install). Anywho, the first time the explorer icon didn't change..second time I did get it to change as I found some things needed tweaking. Now, I'm not entirely sure what I changed but I cannot get it to go back to black, this time. I went into explorer.exe and changed the "icon" to the black one and am still getting (attached) as I pin to the task bar....any thoughts? AND, I have pinned/unpinned..changed, pinned/unpinned...etc. |

| | You need to navigate to the C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer folder and choose iexplor.exe |

| | I meant windows explorer...as you can see in the picture, the icon "is" black but pins manila.... |

| | Then you chose the correct icon,. it has changed from Vista. |

| | The main icon location are in the shell32.dll and imagerres.dll in the C:\windows/System32 directory If you have a Vista machine you can use explorer.exe for the icon you're trying to locate |
