    Is it possible to use a WMV Movie as a background in Win7 and if it is, how can I do it?

    Thanks =)

    How will it not work ?

    Import DreamScene (that's what it was for anyhow but be warned it messes up other aspects of Win 7 n(you can read about it all on this very forum).

    You mean a still picture from the WMV movie? then you can use screen capture programs to make a high quality picture as background.

    VLC Player has a wallpaper mode that will allow you to show video as your desktop wallpaper, and I guess you could put the video file into your startup folder so it would automatically start playing. Setting the playlist to loop will cause the video to flicker when it's restarting, but there is a "loop video continuously for A to B" setting that gives a more seamless transition.

    I'm not sure I would want my computer to constantly play a full screen video, though.
